OUR STORY
Gene Johnson and Kelley Parker built a successful and proven model with the Building Builders Academy, teaching aspiring real estate developers how to build wealth through property development. But they saw a critical gap: their developers needed skilled tradespeople to execute their projects, and the nation was facing a massive shortage.
When they connected with Desi Banks — an Atlanta-native superstar with over 20 million followers and a deep passion for community empowerment — the vision crystallized. Together, they would complete the ecosystem: training not just the developers, but the skilled workforce they need.
Building Building Academy Trades was born from this vision. By combining elite trades training with essential business skills, and leveraging Desi's unmatched cultural influence, the Academy is positioned to prepare and empower the next generation of tradespeople and entrepreneurs.

Successful real estate developer and coach who co-founded the Building Builders Academy, a proven educational model teaching aspiring developers. Gene brings decades of hands-on construction and business experience, along with deep relationships across the industry including Home Depot. His vision is to complete the ecosystem — training both the developers and the skilled workforce they need.

Co-Founder & COO
Real estate developer and strategic operator who co-built the Building Builders Academy alongside Gene Johnson. Kelley's expertise in operations, curriculum development, and scaling educational programs ensures the Academy delivers world-class training.
